Our standard turnaround for singular worktop installations, is 5 to 7 working days from digital templating to final installation. However, because we manage all fabrication in-house at our Kent facility using advanced CNC machinery, we can schedule high-volume trade orders and accommodate any tight commercial project deadlines you may have, without relying on third-party fabricators.

Does quartz need to be sealed?

No. One of quartz's key practical advantages over natural stone is that it is non-porous and requires no sealing, either at installation or as part of ongoing maintenance. This also means it is naturally resistant to staining from liquids such as wine, coffee, and cooking oils.

Do you handle high-volume or multi-unit residential developments?

Yes. Henderstone regularly fabricates and installs stone worktops for multi-unit residential developments, commercial fit-outs and other B2B projects. Our digital laser templating and automated CNC cutting allow us to deliver batch-to-batch colour consistency, precise material yields, and scaled production across multi-plot developments.

Which stone materials are best suited for high-traffic commercial environments?

From our experience, Porcelain and high-grade Quartz are the most popular choices for commercial and high-use spaces (and rightly so!) due to their non-porous nature, scratch resistance, and easy maintenance. However, our team provides technical guidance to ensure your specified material matches the building’s functional and fire-safety requirements.

What regions do you cover for commercial stone worktop supply and fitting?

We primarily cover Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Greater London and Essex from our central facility in Staplehurst, Kent. However, for larger commercial developments and multi-site trade contracts, we accommodate projects nationwide across the UK.
