Granite worktops
Granite is by far the most popular type of natural stone for kitchen worktops and accounts for over 90% of our natural stone installations. This is due to it being by far the most durable, it is almost impossible to scratch and when sealed and maintained properly virtually non porous as well as being highly heat resistant. Add this to the comprehensive range of colours and unparallel beauty of natural stone it no wonder granite is still the most popular choice of worksurface in the UK.
Marble Worktops
Although less durable than granite, marble is becoming increasingly popular. Cararra, Arebescato and Empradoro make a real statement in any kitchen installation although requires a little more care and maintenance than granite. In our opinion marble is a great choice for bath surrounds, shower trays, vanity tops and fireplaces etc.
Limestone Worktops
Limestone is the softest and most porous of the natural stones we supply and must be treated rather carefully. As with marble it is great in bathroom applications and fireplaces.
